Adventure Safety Videos Premiere -August 24th- Río Grande del Norte National Monument

The nonprofit Public Lands Interpretive Association (PLIA) has partnered with the Bureau of Land Management, New Mexico and the UNM – Taos Film and Digital Media Arts program to produce a series of educational short films centered on the Río Grande del Norte National Monument.
The videos developed for this project have been created to encourage safety and responsible use of recreation lands for a variety of recreation activities. You’re invited to celebrate the screening of these films at an event to be held Saturday, August 24, 2024. This public event is completely free, and will feature food, a variety of speakers, and plenty of helpful tips for staying safe in the National Monument.
This event takes place August 24th, from 2-5 PM at Bataan Hall, located at 121 Civic Plaza, Taos.
